Here’s a look at the students, what they plan to major in, and who inspired them through their time as students in the Grove Public School system. Kenneth “Kenny” Wright IV, is this year’s valedictorian and a top scholar. The son of Kenny and Christy Wright, he plans to attend Newman University where he will major in biochemistry with the goal of becoming a dentist. While maintaining a 4.0-plus GPA, Wright was also accepted into Youth Leadership Oklahoma and the National Honor Society. He placed third in the Rotary 4-Way Test Speech contest, was a Rotary student of the month, and was a 2017 state speech qualifier. Wright is also an active member of the high school tennis team where he was the 2017 State Tennis 4A 2 Doubles Champion.
